What
Claude Code checks a set of made-here marker files to confirm a folder is one it created. It now also confirms that the target is a real directory at the expected location, and looks at it before and after reading the key to make sure it was not swapped for another one. The existing checks on the marker files stay in place.
Why
This guards against the folder being replaced between the moment it is checked and the moment it is used.
