What

The /claude-api skill needs to save its reference files to disk. When that fails, it now also tells you that managed-agents-onboard <url> is unavailable, says that running /claude-api again will retry saving the files, and stops there.

The skill also bundles reference documents on these topics:

  • API version migration
  • platform availability
  • prompt auditing
  • live sources
  • Managed Agents memory
  • Managed Agents onboarding, including onboarding from a URL
  • Managed Agents self-hosted sandboxes
  • Anthropic on Google Cloud for Managed Agents

It adds a table of model deprecations with their dates. The live sources document now drops the third column of each table row when it is shown to Claude.

Why

This is the content behind the skill's model retirement and API version features. If onboarding from a URL fails, you now get a clear reason and a way to retry instead of a silent failure.
