Claude Code shows short notices when it pauses or stops passing comments on an artifact back to your session. An artifact is a piece of shared output that people can comment on. Under a setting that Claude Code reads while it runs, these notices are now worded differently:
- They call it a "comment watch" (or "comment watches") where they used to say "auto-reply subscription".
- They say comments reach the session again once the watch resumes.
- They say you can stop watches from the tasks list, which you open with
/tasks. - They no longer mention the
resume_replieshint or the ✕ on the watch.
One notice reads that artifact comments sent to Claude no longer wake this session.
This wording appears to go with a different way of handling artifact comments. If you see these notices, stop a watch from /tasks instead of looking for the old ✕ or resume_replies.
