When you run claude mcp serve with --transport=http or --transport http, Claude Code runs as an MCP server over HTTP. The check that spots this now looks for mcp serve first and only then reads the transport option. Before, it read everything at once.
Why
This looks like a reorganisation that stops early when the command is not mcp serve.
