Unclear It is not clear whether the new fallback value leaves screen-reader arrow-key navigation on or off.
What
The server switch for arrow-key navigation in screen-reader mode, tengu_ax_sr_arrow_nav, has a different built-in fallback, the value Claude Code uses when the server sends nothing. It was the number 493 and is now the text "activation_read_absent". Whether the feature is on for any account is decided by the server.
