What
When Claude Code syncs plugins from claude.ai, it checks a marker file in the plugins folder at the start of each round. That check has changed:
Marker missing: the folder is treated as unmarked.
Marker unreadable: Claude Code refuses the folder, giving the reason "unverified" with the error code.
Before, a missing marker meant Claude Code set the folder's contents aside and wrote a new marker, and there was no separate case for a marker it could not read.
Each plugin install now also waits for a free slot before unpacking, and gives the slot back when done, so only a limited number unpack at once.
Why
Plugin sync now switches itself off for the session rather than writing into a folder it cannot verify.
