What
An MCP server is an add-on that gives Claude Code extra tools. It can stop and ask you a question while it works. Claude Code now ignores an answer that arrives too soon after a new question appears or too soon after a keypress. Cancelling still works at any time.
Other changes to the question dialogs:
In the dialog that shows a link, typing ordinary characters now counts as typing, so it can hold back an answer.
The dialog starts fresh for each new question.
If the question's format cannot be read, every new request is treated as a new question.
Why
A question that pops up while you are typing can no longer be answered by keys meant for something else.
