What
Claude Code fetches settings that decide whether to show the Grove notice. It now rejects an answer that does not say plainly whether the notice is on or off.
When the fetch fails, Claude Code now forgets the stored result and reports an error status. Before, the failure was stored and no status was given.
Why
A brief network problem is no longer remembered, so a later attempt can fetch the settings again.
