When a session's process stops unexpectedly, Claude Code shows a message suggesting you try again with a new message or a new session. An app that runs Claude Code can now swap that suggestion for its own wording.
When Claude Code relaunches and is not running as a thread, it now also signals that it has taken over the shutdown.
