What
A new condition, Z(), which looks like a mode that keeps nothing on disk, now switches several things off:
- File checkpointing: the saved copies of files that let
/rewindrestore code changes are off whenZ()is true, checked beforeCLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_FILE_CHECKPOINTINGand thefileCheckpointingEnabledsetting. - Settings files: a config and settings-file reader returns
{ kind: "absent" }, as if the file did not exist. - Plugin sync: the plugins sync reader returns null instead of an empty list.
- Transcripts: the
keepAllLeavesoption is off. - Credentials: the helper that finds where credentials are stored returns null when the folder is null.
- Marketplaces: a new error says "Marketplaces can't be fetched in this session, because it can't save them".
Why
In sessions running under this mode, /rewind can't restore code, plugin marketplaces can't be fetched, and settings files read as missing.
