What
Claude Code now has a "diskless" mode. In this mode it avoids touching the computer's storage on several paths that always used it before:
- Reading and saving the record of your organisation's consent to remote settings is skipped.
- One file read returns an empty result instead of reading from disk.
- Downloading the official plugin marketplace is skipped and logged as a diskless failure.
