Unclear How the setting is meant to be set, from the command line or from a program using Claude Code, is not clear.

What

Claude Code hides some models from its model list when it treats them as unsupported for this version. A new includeUnsupportedModels setting, off by default, keeps those models in the list when set to true.

A matching --include-unsupported-models flag is passed on to processes that Claude Code starts, so they see the same list.

Why

It lets you, or a program that runs Claude Code, see and pick models that would otherwise be filtered out.
