What
MCP is a standard way for Claude Code to connect to outside tools, and an organization can supply MCP servers through an enterprise configuration file. Claude Code used to always read that file. In diskless sessions, a mode a host program can launch Claude Code in, it now skips the file and treats it as not present, with no configuration and no errors.
