What
Claude Code can install an extension into your code editor (an IDE, such as VS Code or a JetBrains editor). The result of that install now records one more thing: whether the extension was already installed beforehand. The result previously reported only whether the install worked, any error, the installed version and the editor type.
Why
This lets Claude Code tell a fresh install apart from a reinstall over an existing copy.
