What

Claude Code asks you once whether you trust a folder before working in it. This is the trust dialog. A new message tells you how to trust a folder when something is blocked for lack of trust:

  • Run Claude Code in that folder once and accept the trust dialog
  • Or set projects[...].hasTrustDialogAccepted: true in the settings file

If the session has no working folder and the item has no folder of its own, the message says there is no folder to trust.

Why

When something is blocked because a folder is not trusted, you are now told how to fix it.
