What
On Windows, Claude Code runs shell commands from skills and hooks (scripts that run at set moments) in Git Bash. When Git Bash is not found, it runs them in PowerShell instead. Claude Code now shows a one-time warning saying this happened and suggesting you install Git for Windows.
