In auto mode, Claude Code runs a separate check that decides whether an action may go ahead without asking you. The conversation that check reads can now begin with a section inherited from a parent. When Claude Code measures how much context the check uses, it now counts only the part after that inherited section, where before the earlier context was counted in full.
