What

When Claude Code connects to a browser through its browser extension, it now keeps track of two failure states: no browser being found, and the relay (the link that passes messages between Claude Code and the browser) failing to connect. It also keeps a count that goes up whenever the list of connected browsers changes. These are cleared when the connection is made again.

Why

In practice, Claude Code now knows more precisely why a browser connection did not work.
