What
When Claude Code syncs skills, it writes a list of the skills it has. Skills are reusable instructions it can load for a task. It used to write that list once without checking it. It can now re-read the list up to twice afterwards:
If skills it just downloaded are missing, it writes them back.
If they are still missing after that, the sync does not count as clean.
Both cases are logged.
Why
This fixes a timing problem where skills you had just synced could quietly disappear from the list.
