Terminal UIArea: what it touches
Internal ChangesKind: in v2.1.295,
Internal ChangesSection of the release
What
When Claude Code redraws the whole terminal screen at once, it has to tell the terminal when text changes color or style. It now keeps track of each style by a saved identifier and moves from one style to the next directly, instead of comparing lists of style settings each time.
Why
This changes how Claude Code produces the color and formatting codes it sends to your terminal during a full redraw.
