What

When you hit a usage limit, Claude Code shows a message with a hint about what to do next. The part of Claude Code that builds this message has been rewritten so the hint is picked from a fixed set. The wording you see is the same, including the hints pointing to /usage-credits to adjust your monthly spend limit and to /rewind to undo a turn's file edits.

Claude Code now also records which kind of hint was shown.

Why

In practice nothing changes in what you read on screen.
