What
In a remote session, Claude Code normally saves the session's credentials (the login details it uses to act for you) to a file on disk. It now skips that step when it is running inside a tool server's daemon. A daemon is a background process that keeps running without a window of its own. Before this change, only sessions started for a review skipped saving.
This applies to remote sessions, which Claude Code recognises through the CLAUDE_CODE_REMOTE environment variable.
Why
Background daemons no longer leave stray credential files on the machine.
