Gateway users without a small model set fall back to the default model

With the gateway provider (a service that passes your requests on to models), Claude Code now handles a missing small, fast model:

• Prompt hooks and agent hooks use the main or default gateway model when ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_HAIKU_MODEL and ANTHROPIC_SMALL_FAST_MODEL are both unset. Hooks are commands or checks Claude Code runs automatically at set points.
• A side request, a short extra request Claude Code makes beside your main conversation, is retried once on the default model if the gateway refuses it with error 400, 403 or 404.
• The check for whether a small, fast model is configured can now also pass for the gateway provider.

Agent hooks also now receive a filtered set of your permission rules.
