What
You can type a message while Claude is still working, and Claude Code holds it in a queue until it can be sent. When a queued message ends up dropped instead of sent, Claude Code now hands the text you typed back to you before treating it as dropped. Before, it was dropped without being handed back.
Why
Text you typed is less likely to be lost if it cannot be sent.
