What
You can type messages while Claude is still working, and they wait in a queue until Claude is ready. When a turn is cancelled, Claude Code now finds queued messages that had not been answered yet and either puts them back in the input box or places them back at the front of the queue.
Why
This keeps messages you typed ahead from being lost when a turn is cancelled.
