What
Amazon Bedrock is Amazon's service for running Claude models. When you use Claude Code through Bedrock and a region is set that is neither a US region nor a Canadian one (names starting ca-), Claude Code now changes the model ID it sends. Before, it used one fixed Bedrock model ID for every region.
