Unclear It is not clear whether this rewind question appears for every account or only behind a setting switched on remotely.
What
Rewinding means going back to an earlier point in a conversation. In some cases after Claude refuses a request, Claude Code asks whether you want to rewind. That question now tracks whether a point to rewind to was found:
- In some cases it can now skip the question and simply carry on.
- After a refusal it checks again, and records that things changed while you waited if the rewind point is no longer there.
- The result now reports whether a rewind point was found.
Why
This changes when the rewind question after a refusal is skipped, and when it is reported as having changed during the wait.
