Unclear Nothing shows what makes a queued command step aside, so which prompts this affects is unknown.
What
When you type prompts while Claude is busy, they wait in a queue and can be run together as a batch. Claude Code now checks the first command in the batch twice, once when it is taken from the queue and once just before it starts. If that command steps aside at either check, it is removed from the batch. If that leaves the batch empty, nothing from it runs.
Before, the batch started straight away without these checks.
Why
This changes which of your queued commands actually start, which can affect how prompts typed mid-turn are grouped and run.
