What
Claude Code has an uploader that sends its internal events. It is now configured with gatherTick: !0, which turns batching on:
- Adding an event no longer sends immediately. Before, every added event triggered a send (
this.drain()).
- Instead a single send is scheduled through
setImmediate, so events added in the same tick, meaning the same short burst of work, go out together.
close() flushes any events still waiting.
Why
Fewer separate upload requests are made. Events still waiting are sent when the uploader closes, so they are not left behind.
