It is now configured with `gatherTick: !0`, which turns batching on:\n\n- Adding an event no longer sends immediately. Before, every added event triggered a send (`this.drain()`).\n\n- Instead a single send is scheduled through `setImmediate`, so events added in the same tick, meaning the same short burst of work, go out together.\n\n- `close()` flushes any events still waiting.\n\n**Why**\n\nFewer separate upload requests are made.
