Unclear What the two switches turn on, and what uses the new remote-session path, is not known.
This release adds pieces that relate to remote sessions and MCP (Model Context Protocol, the standard way Claude Code connects to outside tools):
- Two new switches whose values come from Anthropic's server
- Recognition of a web address used by remote sessions to reach tools over MCP
- An MCP server of type "claudeai-proxy" is labelled "claudeai-connector" when one of the new switches is off
These look like early groundwork for passing a remote session's tool use through MCP. Nothing here is shown to change what a user does yet.
