Unclear What the new display setting on GitLab token detectors actually controls is not known.
What
This release changes several things:
- GitLab token detectors, the patterns that recognise GitLab access tokens such as feed tokens, all gain a display setting they did not have before.
- A new helper detects when a path is a Windows drive mounted inside WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux, which runs Linux on Windows).
- A new helper runs git with its
-C option, which points git at a folder other than the one you are working in.
Why
The GitLab change may affect how detected GitLab tokens are shown, for example when they are hidden from output.
