Unclear The exact flags the new check accepts are not clear.

What

Before a shell command runs, Claude Code reads it to decide whether it needs your permission. For commands starting with command, as in command -v, the old check looked at the wrong part of the line when testing for flags. It now checks each flag that follows command in turn.

Why

This changes how forms such as command -v are treated when Claude Code decides whether a shell command can run without asking.
