Hooks are commands that run automatically at set points while Claude Code works. When your computer serves a session running in the cloud, /plugin now shows a "Hooks from this machine" line. The line reads as one of:

A hidden command also reviews changes to this folder's settings files against the version you last accepted for cloud sessions.
If this project's settings set environment variables, Claude Code now warns that they are not applied while this computer serves a cloud session. Environment variables are named values passed to programs.
