What
Claude Code makes a few requests straight to claude.ai, the Anthropic website service behind your account. Two of these direct requests now check first whether the current session (one run of Claude Code, from start to exit) is allowed to make them. If it is not, the request is skipped. One of them fails with a "not read" result and the other stops with an error.
Before this change, both requests were always made.
Why
Some kinds of session now make fewer network calls to claude.ai.
