What
Some features are betas that only Anthropic's own API accepts. When a session uses another API provider, Claude Code does not send them. Two pieces of text that explain this were reworded so they say Claude Code does not send the features, rather than that the provider does not take them.
The reason shown for a session now reads "Claude Code does not send first-party-only beta features to this session's API provider". It used to say "this session's API provider does not take Anthropic's first-party beta features".
The SDK description of set_max_thinking_tokens now says its error applies on "another provider to which Claude Code sends no first-party-only beta features". It used to say "another provider without Anthropic's first-party beta features". The SDK is the kit for driving Claude Code from your own program.

This is a wording change only. Behaviour is the same.
