Two pieces of text that explain this were reworded so they say Claude Code does not send the features, rather than that the provider does not take them.\n\n- The reason shown for a session now reads \"Claude Code does not send first-party-only beta features to this session's API provider\". It used to say \"this session's API provider does not take Anthropic's first-party beta features\".\n\n- The SDK description of `set_max_thinking_tokens` now says its error applies on \"another provider to which Claude Code sends no first-party-only beta features\".
