What
After a turn, Claude Code can run a memory extraction pass that looks over the conversation for things worth remembering. That pass can now add a note about stale information to the instructions it follows. It also records three more measurements: how large the conversation it came from was, whether the conversation was compacted (shortened) during the pass, and whether the stale note was included.
Memory extraction is still behind the same remote switch, which defaults to off. The flag server returned off for this site's account and for the anonymous baseline. No reading has been taken under this release yet.
Why
This changes what the memory extraction pass is told, which can affect what it chooses to remember.

The flag server returned off for the account this site reads and for the anonymous baseline. A reading of off cannot rule out a rollout these two readings sit outside of.

These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.
