What

Two separate changes:

  • Shell commands: a command containing a line Claude Code cannot read now stops and asks for your approval before it runs. The prompt uses the same wording as the one for writing to a settings file.
  • Plugin marketplaces: a marketplace is a catalog you install plugins from. When Claude Code downloads one, it now checks that the downloaded marketplace's name matches the name it expected. The plugin list also shows the marketplace name in an adjusted form.
Why

Commands Claude Code cannot fully read no longer run without you seeing them first.
