What

A cloud session can use tools on your own computer. A sandbox is an isolated area that limits what those tools can reach. Claude Code now shows a message when this is not possible:

  • The sandbox is still starting, so your computer's tools are not offered yet.
  • The sandbox is unavailable, so your computer's tools are not offered.
  • A call was refused because Claude Code could not read its settings.
Why

It looks like cloud sessions may run your computer's tools only inside a sandbox, and these messages tell you why tools are missing.
