The first request a program sends when it connects to Claude Code through the SDK (the initialize request) can now carry attachServeRequest, holding a work ID and an environment ID. It is only for Claude Desktop's serve-only helper, which it launches with --attach-serve.
Why
This is a detail of how Claude Desktop talks to Claude Code and has no direct effect if you use Claude Code in a terminal.
