What
When you view a remote session, which is Claude Code running on another machine, two things change:
- Claude Code now picks up the session's background tasks, jobs that keep running while you do other things, so they appear in your view.
- Claude Code now counts turns for each connected client. When a result arrives for a turn that was not started from your client, it no longer re-arms the notification that tells you the session has gone idle.
Why
This affects attaching to and resuming remote sessions. You should see existing background tasks, and fewer idle alerts caused by other clients.
