What
Remote Control lets you control a Claude Code session from another device. When checking incoming messages, Claude Code now expects the local side to be labelled "device" instead of "laptop". The step that syncs files was also renamed, from pulling a synced folder to a file store worker.
Why
Because the label has changed, a newer and an older copy of Claude Code may not work together over Remote Control.
