Hidden command lets the VS Code extension clear out deleted worktrees

Claude Code has a new hidden command, claude drop-worktree-registrations, that the VS Code extension runs. A worktree is an extra working folder attached to a git repository. When such a folder is deleted, git can keep a record of it. This command reads a list of those worktrees, given as JSON, and removes git's records of them.

The command will not run in two cases:

• When it is run by hand in a terminal.
• Inside a Claude Code session, which it detects through CLAUDE_CODE_CHILD_SESSION.
