Claude Code can pass work to other agents, which are separate AI helpers that take on a task and then hand the result back. When a routed agent makes one clean handback and the recipient is that same agent, Claude Code can now send a short pointer notice instead.
This sits behind a remote switch, and the code falls back to on when the server sends no value.
It looks like a way to shorten handback messages between agents.
