What
Claude Code can keep a spare process started in advance so a new session starts faster. When it takes over one of these, it now records two timings: how long it waited for a token file, and how long it took to apply the session's setup.
Why
Nothing changes on screen. The timings measure how fast these pre-started processes get going.
