In Claude Code's vim mode (an input mode that uses Vim's keyboard commands), repeating a change command that inserted no text now steps the cursor back one character, unless the cursor is at the start of a line. Before, the cursor was left where the insertion started. Claude Code also now remembers the text as it was when insert mode began.
Why
This affects only where the cursor ends up after a repeated change. It probably brings the cursor position closer to what Vim itself does.
