What
subagentStatusLine lets you run your own command to rewrite rows in the subagent task display. A subagent is a helper Claude starts to work on part of a task. Claude Code now skips that command when the statusLine feature has been switched off by its check for restricted modes. Before, this check did not apply to it.

In practice, --bare sessions (a minimal mode for scripts) should no longer run your subagent status line command.
