A plugin marketplace is a catalogue of plugins you have added to Claude Code. When you run claude plugin marketplace remove, the output used to say only that the marketplace was removed. It now also:

  • lists the plugins from that marketplace that were uninstalled with it
  • says their saved options, secrets and data are deleted where possible
  • explains that to use one again you add the marketplace back and reinstall the plugin
Why

Removing a marketplace also removes its installed plugins and their data, and you can now see exactly which ones went.
