What
The messages Claude gets when your computer cannot be reached have been rewritten. They say the machine is not answering right now, most often because Claude on it is not connected, and tell Claude to:
not call the machine again in the same turn
do what it can inside its own container (the isolated environment it runs in)
tell you about the problem
When the problem is on Claude's own side instead, a separate message tells it to try again shortly.
Why
Claude no longer keeps hammering a computer that is offline, and you hear about the problem instead of waiting on repeated failed calls.
